Umeda Character Study

I read a new manga to study how to lay out panels and a more classic style of manga (made in 2007)

The manga was 'Hana Kimi' For You in Full Blossem. I got it from the main library

I saw this character who was funny and understandable called Dr Umeda. I wanted to style how they created/planned the characters face. So, here is my study

First I drew out the character in 3 different face angles and a full body pose

Then I started to break down how they could have done it, what I noticed with the face basic shapes/plans/lines

And that is my study. I learned a lot from it and kind of fun to draw. He was such a funny character
