Updating, After Christmas and New Year

It is after Christmas and New Year

Good times everyone :D

OK, I have done stuff, and I will add as many as I can (or remember). So, here I go (not in order of when it was created, just anything I did when I remember them)

Cutie Pies
I did an animatic for Cutie Pies (I planned it weeks ago on paper but finally got to animaticing it in Storyboard Pro)

I first just got all the drawings I had planned for it, untimed

Then I timed the animatic and added some simple movements if need be

I recognize that this animatic could be used for my overall animation idea for this year, and might ask about it at a later date

I also find I could still stretch out some of the scenes nearing the end more as they might be too long, but this is where I will leave it for now

I think I can say I have a better understanding of Clip Studio Paint now and can use it in many different ways. I am glad

4-Panel Comic Drawing
I have decided to better my habits with drawing in a work sense, I will push myself to create a very simple 4-panel comic in the time period of just ONE HOUR. No longer. This will help my time management and work managing. It is a very simple comic idea so it will only take one hour. I will have time for other things

I will keep doing the comic until SIT starts back up. Just for now, I will work on my habits ready for SIT and the workforce

I have been told too many times about my characters Oliver & Silver, so I will use them for this (I am not joking, I am asked to draw them more than about my SIT work as a whole ha ha)

3D And 2D Animation/Practice
I have wanted to do this for a lot of the holidays now, and I am now finally going for it!

I will have a very basic room layout in Maya and animate the camera spinning around the center. Then, I will take this reference into ToomBoom Harmony and animate a character in the center of the room. If I have time, I will also play around with animating some special effects/magic like animation for this character to be playing with

I have started the room building in Maya and is now placing basic shapes for items to be in the room ready for ToomBoom

This is a technique I have been curious about since my first year studying at SIT
It is one of the ideas that had me coming back for the second and finial years of SIT, this and last year(I was gonna leave because I was scared of 3D and unsure of where what job I would even get/where to go). So I wanna give at least one try to see if this is where I might wanna dive into doing more of
