2nd Years possible trip

I got told by a 2nd year student and a tutor, that the 2nd years have the opportunity to go and study in China for 8 weeks Sponsorship

The flights and accommodation paid for (only really needing spending money at this point that I know of)

They must do both the SIT course work, and also the new course work in China, making it a large workload. But one amazing experience!

I am so happy for them! And a little envious ha ha. But that is normal :D

This just makes me want to push harder. To prove myself. I know that it would be a really stupid idea if I try to ask if there was an opportunity for myself with an exchange other-seas, but I really to have a dream

I have dreamed of being able to engage in another culture and study in an exchange ever since I was in school. Being in a large family, that was never an option for money was not something we can play around with

With the opportunity with the 2nd years being a sponsorship, I really wish I was in 2nd year ha ha. What is even better for them is that they get to go to China. China is one of the places I really wanted an exchange to (the most I would have to confess)

I really do wish I could have an opportunity like that. I ensured that I (when I struggled in 1st year with not having a computer) got a computer that I could transport anywhere I go, so that if I went on an exchange or anywhere I had to go, I could still work on my projects. So if I was to go overseas and work long, late hours. I would still have something to go work on so that I can keep up to date with my work

I do not want to ruin the chances of the 6 special students in 2nd year who will go on this trip. I cannot imagine the pain and sadness for the second year who misses out when they got in, because a greedy 3rd year stopped them. That is just mean

So. I will work hard on my work, so that I will be recognized as a hard worker and, if the chance comes up (only if) they will hopefully look to me as who they could give it to and not worry about they work that must be done

My rant is done. I feel much better now

Sorry if the rant is annoying to you or unnecessary, I just needed to get it off my plate so that I can get back to the tasks at hand, my project!
