BSA725 Update

Today has been a good day

Yesterday, I wanted to help fellow storyboard artist Ramya with Storyboard Pro. So, I set up the script for her (the one that was current yesterday) and added lots of notes to help her understand Storyboard Pro

I hope she likes it and is able to understand it a little better

We first talked about the storyboarding and when its due. Next week the rough is due (I plan to finish it over the weekend)

Next we looked and confirmed what concept art will lead our art direction from now onward

I loved everyone's work. Just amazing

I was surprised that one of mine was picked. I feel like I achieved my goal, proving to myself that my art is good enough :)

We went over more of the meeting, very nice and formal (I no longer get lost!)

Then it was onto the character concepts. This involves the charter spread sheet, turn around and colour palette

I put my hand up!

I did it! I am the leader of the 'Child/Boy' concept! I am so proud of myself. I have a mini team with me. Samei, Vivi and a little bit of Rachel

I look forward to leading and helping them create the best work for this project

I have set them with a task, and set up a Miro board for them to both look at the referenced style the art director wants and also to place our work for us to look at and give advice for

The first task is to practice drawing in the referenced style and try some basic concepts. I will message them what the next task is

I will also be helping them use ToomBoom Harmony. I look forward to Samei showing me how to animate in After Effects!

I will be using Discord a lot for getting advice on the storyboard

I will work on the storyboard Saturday and draw up some character concepts if I get restless from storyboarding

Sunday is more storyboarding and editing

Monday is concepts and looking over what the next task will be
