BVA703 Update
I have not updated this much, as I was stuck for a Question

After a good session with my Reader-Writer, I managed to get a more refined question and arguments
This is what I had, just before the critique

How can I, with the usage or colour, show the deep thoughts/state of mind/depression of a character within a short 3D film, while still maintaining the happy, near-humorous, enjoyable experience for the viewer?
- Can colour be used in contrast against desaturated (black and white) to express positive feelings/thoughts?
- Does the style of how the desaturated (black and white) is animated display the different states of one’s feelings/thoughts (scribbles show a mess within the mind, thick clouds show the weight of the feelings/thoughts)?
- Does the style of how the colour is animated display the different states of one’s feelings/thoughts (sparks show a sudden surge of adrenaline or excitement, soft bubbles show a steady calm feelings/thoughts)?
- Can I display true friendship, where supporting and never giving up on each other is the key for a deeper and more meaningful friendship?
- Can I show that the negative thoughts within one’s mind can negatively impact the happiness/outlook of life (can be harmful and/or hurtful)?
- Can I influence the viewer/reader’s own view of their own personal thoughts (is it in colour or is it grey?)?
Now advice given, here is the advice I was given

How can I, with the usage or colour, show the state of mind of a character within a light-hearted short 3D animation?
- Practice-based research alongside active documentation via a blog is the methodology utilised in my project.
