Coronavirus = Self-Isolating
Well... I must now work from home

I knew this was going to happen, but didn't expect how fast it came
Last week, everyone was aware of the virus now being in New Zealand, and we had a mini chat within our meeting about it
But on Wednesday, the virus was in Invercargill. This lead many classmates to leave that class right away and some never came back
The next day, half the class was missing from class. The number got smaller as the day went on. The atmosphere was really weird... I didn't like it
That is when everyone started to prep for SIT closing
Some people did come back on Friday, and it made SIT feel less weird
But over the weekend, it was like everyone has a resting period (I asked many people and they all felt the same), as if we were recovering from the stress of something big, or resting before the storm, I don't know, but I rested over the weekend (not working for once!)
When I went back to SIT today (Monday) I had been told over the weekend that we were at Level 2 or this health system
If we hit Level 3, no SIT
When in class today, we all suddenly stopped working to watch the live broadcast to learn what is going to happen
We were Level 3, going to Level 4
Now SIT is closing over the next 48 hours, and I must work from home. No going out or anything
Well watching it, everyone in class looked just shocked with this really happening. Like it cannot be real. All silent as we listened to the news from our Prime Minister
I will never forget the atmosphere of those few minutes. It felt like hours
When we knew the news, the tutors said we could go home. The Prime Minister said to basically stay home, so go home
I... couldn't believe we were really leaving and that there was no SIT. It's so unreal
So now. I am working at home
Nothing too hard as I am very blessed to have a good computer and drawing screen (just like SIT's just a little smaller)
I am more worried about my friends without computers. I hope they are OK
So, I will be tagging my post with the 'Self-Isolation' label, as I am working from home

Good post.
