The Untamed
I watched and finished a Chinese Drama called 'The Untamed'

I like it. I know this story as an animation, and have read the novel. It is pretty cool. The scenes and clothes, beautiful
I watched this to widen my horizon with both, overseas works, live-action instead of animation, and different time period/rules

I really like the story within this. I also looked into some behind the scenes videos (that I can't find for some reason...). It is so simple yet done pretty well (there were times when I was like.... That could have been done better...)

It even had some interesting smoke and paper animation within the series. Every episode was about 44 minutes long (animations are usually only 10 minutes)
I enjoyed the drama and learned how a story can be adapted differently depending on the different medium

Live-action seems to have more character interaction, emotions and details in the clothing/sets, where as the animation was more into the fighting and epic effects than emotions. That is just the different ones I've seen with the Mo Dao Zu Shi story, all different yet still the story from the novel
Live-action emotions and holding scenes

Animation fighting and epic

I did enjoy it though. Happy on my end
