World Games, Animation, and Cinema
Noted Films and Animations and Games: Syria
- Syria: For Sama (documentary) 2019

It is SO POWERFUL. You can feel the power and fear. It's during a war, and it is real. They face the fear of losing their daughter, losing each other, and everything they have. Very Moving. Just... Wow......
They Lived :D And have had another daughter :)
- Syria: Path Out (Video Game trailer) 2017

Abdullah Karam. This is his dream, to find the path out of Syria. The goal of the game is to not kill him
- Thread of Life (2005) Opening
Noted Films and Animations and Games: Iran
- Persepolis (animation) 2007
I remember this film. Very cool and interesting, and well done. I like it a lot and how they tell the story of a little girl growing up
- A Separation (movie) 2011
Oh dear. Seems full of drama. Wow. Cool angles and people
- "Of course Iran has 'girl gamers', but they face unique barriers" Aljazeera report
- 1979: Revolution (video game)
This is a great way to teach others about many things. Some people in my class say that this could be the new way to teach history. With having the gamer's experience/play history itself
Noted Films and Animations and Games: Saudi Arabia
- Saudi Arabia: History of Games
I liked this video. Its interesting and just a good watch
- Saudi Arabia: First Cinema Opening in 35 Years
- Viral animation shows Saudi Arabia fighting Iran
Now in class, we will watch a little of For Sama
It's on Bemafilm
It is really amazing and sad. So powerful. I'm in awe and shock. First the rebellion was their lives, then their daughter's. The sacrifice they had to make. The war, panic, stress, pain, extremes and EVERYTHING. And it's only the beginning
