Exhibition - Rendering
The time came
Not many came for the shared lunch, but that's OK
Just means more for the ones who came
We did have 2 art students who mentioned we should have done an allergy check (one super allergic to red grapes, another to cheese with the white covering on it)
We learned our lesson
It was very last minute the catering part of this event, but we will next time send a message in Discord asking others about it
It was nice to sit down, eat and chat away
Then the exhibition came
I was surprised that some people came
The posters were very last minute (why weren't they put up??? Meh) so not many knew about the event
But we had some 2nd year animators, tutors, a little friends/family of other students (my sister) come
Not everyone came in though. But some did :)
I felt bad for student Rachel
She has not slept in days, was shaking, crying, stressing and it didn't work! Poor thing
Please take rest for this next week
I enjoyed chatting to my friends and seeing their work
SOME WERE AMAZING!!!
Just amazing
It is weird (and a little scary) to think that at the next exhibition, our major project will be finished
I'm excited too though
My review of what I exhibited at this exhibition
I had provided what I was wanting to show. My finished set and characters
The way I presented it. Not the most interesting way
When we first started talking about the exhibition and getting TV's, I knew there were not enough for everyone
(and I had been told at the last exhibition that I could lose marks for sharing a TV)
So I was planning a different way to presenting my work
Then I thought printing
I didn't hear about anyone doing any printing at the time, so my work could be unique in its point of difference
It was a good idea, but when it came to printing I realized that it was not enough
Tutor Rachel must have seen my thoughts too and questioned me on it
I knew it was not enough, but had to keep my head high
It is a shame that this is the final exhibition for just my year group
I should have tried to end it with a bang (but I did not)
So, overall I should have provided more than just prints at this exhibition to catch more attention and appeal
Good idea, not enough :)
