ILT Surprise!

I got a surprise!

Like, really surprised. I did not see this coming at all

My little Hunfu that I created in lockdown won judges choice in the ILT awards!

I was/am so shocked!

When they said my name, my sister was right beside me and said later 'when you heard your name, your face dropped and your face went so red ha ha. It's so funny'

She hugged me in the first time I can remember this year and rocked me side-to-side saying 'You did it! You won something!!' as I try to think about anyone's name that could have been like mine (there was art from a girl called Brittany)

Then they asked for Bethany Hayes again. I didn't know what to do ha ha. Was I suppose to go up there???

Turns out, yes

My sister pushed me! I wasn't gonna move but she got me to move

Then I walked over and got stuff!! Art Stuff!

Money was used for it!

I was trying to look as calm and smiley as possible. But I knew my face went from '!!!!!' 'Shocked' 'Smiling' 'Red-faced Embarrassment' 'Hi, I'm the center of attention when I get stage fright'

It was a good day

I went to the exhibition to both support the artist (I've never been before), look at my art in an exhibition that was not done by students, and free snacks (sorry. I only had 4 crackers!)

So this was very surprising!
