Reflecting on BSA706
Well. today was the final class of BSA706 forever
That's a weird feeling
Well. Overall, I think I really enjoyed how well my project went, and how everyone else seemed to like it too (they clapped)
I am surprised by how much I learn with watching other films
When I first learned what class this was in my first year of study, I was scared and unsure
I grew up not watching too many films and not finding too much joy in watching them often
So the thought of having a class were we sit down and watch historic films that are boring was not something I looked forward to
And it was just that in the first year ha ha
The second year, I knew what was going on and found a little more joy out of it
But half the time I was longing to work on the project for that class, but not being able to as we had to watch films
In all honesty, I am still not a huge film person (reminder, I am comparing myself to my film classmates... I might not be bad but still ha ha)
But I have found that I have learned a lot about different countries and styles this year
I found out that I love Asia and am inspired by it more from other countries (not always, but that's what I have noticed)
So I did enjoy learning more about some countries this year, which surprised me
I now know more about what films and animation I like (what I really don't too)
I feel like this is is important for me to learn as I can now research more into what others do and to inspire my own work
So I am glad I was able to learn so much
So no regrets. I've learned more about myself
Good bye BSA706. You've done me well
